POLICY RESEARCH

Improving policies, informing programming. Policy, which includes agency-, system- or government-level guidelines, regulations, and laws, can have significant effects on public health. At the same time, evidence from public health research can be leveraged to inform and enforce policy. Using multidisciplinary research methods and communication strategies, our work has examined the interactions between policy and health outcomes to inform program planning, as well as future policies, with the aim of continually improving the health of communities.
