Tobacco Prevention, Cessation, & Control

Tobacco use and secondhand smoke increase the risk of serious illness and death for millions of Americans. The Research & Evaluation Group’s work has supported many tobacco use programs and cessation efforts. Our team serves as evaluators for state tobacco control and prevention programs and works with other researchers and nonprofit organizations. We use best practices to help this field understand impact, determine future direction, and advocate for and implement new programs and policies.

Some of our past and current funders include the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the American Lung Association (ALA).
