Southeastern Pennsylvania Tobacco Control Project

R&E Group conducts evaluation for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Tobacco Control Project (SEPA TCP), which is responsible for helping people in Southeastern Pennsylvania quit smoking, promoting the region’s tobacco dependence treatment, and preventing the onset of tobacco and nicotine use for residents. SEPA TCP is managed by Health Promotion Council of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Inc., (HPC), and funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Our recent report summarizes findings from Operation Storefront, a SEPA TCP initiative that aims to help young people see firsthand how tobacco companies use point of sale advertising (i.e., advertisements placed around the counter of a store) to manipulate them into buying tobacco products.
