R&E Group publishes evaluation of Project RISE in AIDS and Behavior

The Research and Evaluation Group at PHMC published their findings for the evaluation of the RISE (Reclaiming Inner Strength Everyday) project, which was developed as an HIV prevention intervention for black bisexual men. This intervention was unique in using an ecosystems approach with life coaching techniques that focused on coping strategies for dealing with a range of stressors in men's lives. R&E Group’s community partners, such as COLOURS Organization formed a Community Advisory Board of 15 bisexually-active black men to ensure that the intervention and evaluation plan were culturally appropriate and acceptable to the men being reached.
